We’ve got the goods: an app worth singing about, and a team of in-house bards who daily sing its praises. Yet in the noisy theatre of Los Interwebs, there are plenty of other voices, apps, and singers of (possibly dubious?) talent competing for attention. That’s why we need you to cut through the chatter, and find ways to reach new and greater audiences.

If you succeed: you’ll be taking thousands of pestilent cars off the road by helping commuters discover (and fall in love with) Transit. It’s the dream job for the marketing-minded urbanist.

Ideally: You are that rare combination of number- and people-person, surrounded by a hard candy shell of civic-mindedness. You’re someone who can identify which marketing channels deserve the most attention (social? SEO? in-app marketing? email? festooning buses with our bright green signage?), and you have an interest in sharpening your expertise in one or two of those areas. You’ll be working alongside copywriters, designers, and members of our business team, tasked with systematizing Transit’s successful—but often scattershot—marketing initiatives. Chaos is your playpen here, order will be your instrument, while your goals will be various: downloads and retention and re-activation (B2C) and better transit agency visibility (B2B).

Users (B2C) - With help from graphic design, comms, and biz teams you can shepherd the rider lifecycle from discovery, to download, to engagement/retention/re-activation:
