On August 23-24, SEPTA is launching Phase 1 of its New Bus Network, the first comprehensive redesign of the bus system in 63 years.

Yes! Subscribe to the lines you frequently take in the app and receive SEPTA alerts as soon as a change is published.
Open Transit and use the trip planner to discover alternative routes from A to B. You'll also see other modes of transportation to try (Indego bikes, taxis, ride-sharing, and more).
You can pay for bus, Metro and Regional Rail with contactless Apple Pay, Google Wallet or Samsung Pay, get a SEPTA key card at a kiosk or get a Quick Trip ticket for some modes. SEPTA still accepts cash but only the exact fare.
The regular 1-trip bus fare is $2.90. There are no transfers included when you pay with cash and up to 2 transfers within 2 hours when you pay with a SEPTA Key Card or contactless.
