On June 29, 2025, all Metrobus routes and schedules will change across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. It’s the biggest update to the city’s bus network in 50 years — part of WMATA’s Better Bus plan to improve service and simplify the system.
If you ride a route like 1A, you’ll see what it becomes right in the app — for example, 1A is expected to be replaced by A58, F60, F61, and F62.
